WHY SURVIVOR IS MY FAVOURITE REALITY SHOW

Heyy guys. I am so swamped with life that I didn't sat down to write a blog post.

But now, I am finally making time to write something that I have been meaning to write in a while.

SURVIVOR IS MY FAVOURITE REALITY SHOW!

"The veteran reality series hosted by Jeff Probst brings its 20 castaways to the Mamanuca Islands in Fiji for its 34th installment. This season's theme, "Game Changers," brings back castaways who helped evolve the game through their competitiveness and willingness to put it all on the line, who once again vie to outwit, outplay and outlast one another. The returning players include two-time winner Sandra Diaz-Twine, and two contestants making their fourth attempt at a win. In the end, one castaway earns the title of Sole Survivor".

As a kid, I have always loved to watch survivor, even now I still do watch it with my husband (who is also the fan of the show btw).

As a kid, I watch Survivor for the drama that it entales.

As an adult, I watch Survivor as I view it for the relatedness it has to our own life. (Those who know me knows I need to reflect, ponder and think!)

The deception, the trust, the hope, the inability to control your own fate and destiny is all embedded in Survivor.

There are of course positive and negative qualities that can be extracted from the show. For example, one good quality is being a strategic and social game player to win the game. A negative quality is backstabbing, blindsiding, cheating, hurting and stealing that contestants do.

BUT, that is LIFE. You can't expect life to be all rosy with you. That is the reality of this life that is showcased in Survivor.

So, I love to watch what happens each week because nothing is certain , everything keeps moving and changing.

And it is soooo relatable (did I mention this already)?

Let's say, for example when we talk about the context of working environment and you are working with people, you have to a social player. Also, if you are working, your colleague can back stab and blindside you by spreading lies about you to your boss.

See? It's the same concept as Survivor. That is what makes it so addictive.

In life, you can't just trust anyone.

In life, you have to look out for yourself.

Even if you think you have allies, think again.

That's what Survivor taught me, to stay positive but at the same time to be careful.
